PATENTED SOLUTIONS

Planus offers the widest range of units for the automatic transfer of grey water.

From our thirty years of experience, we know that the weak points of automatic transfer units are minor air leaks from the pressure switch and the connections between the pressure switch and the air trap. These can cause an increase in activation levels and, over time, lead to product failure. Another critical issue is pump cavitation, which results in increased noise levels and a drastic reduction in hydraulic performance.

Planus stands out for the introduction of two effective patented solutions that completely eliminate the main issues described above.

AUTOMATIC AIR BLEED CONNECTION

Thanks to this patented solution applied to the Planus Vortex pump, the air inside the pump body is discharged into the holding tank.
This simple yet effective solution provides a number of benefits:

1. Noise elimination
Air inside the pump body generates noise. By eliminating cavitation, we have eliminated noise during pumping.
2. Increased performance
Operating the pump without cavitation makes it possible to achieve the best possible performance.
3. Reduced motor workload
Without cavitation, motor operating times are reduced, consequently preventing overheating.

AUTOMATIC AIR VOLUME RESTORATION SYSTEM INSIDE THE AIR TRAP

Planus technicians have used the flow generated by the automatic air bleed connection to power a Venturi-effect ejector.

Thanks to its specific geometry, each time the pump is activated it draws in a certain amount of air, which is directed towards the air trap, ensuring the constant maintenance of the air volume and, consequently, the correct operating levels of the unit.

This solution also enables the immediate and automatic restoration of the correct level even after long periods of inactivity, when unavoidable minor air leaks from the pressure switch may have caused the operating levels to rise.
