Patented WC with aspirator for contaminated aerosol

Numerous official studies carried out internationally have shown that viruses and bacteria, including Coronaviruses, are widely present in the feces and consequently in the aerosol that is generated during the use of toilets.

Research has shown that the aerosol released from the toilet remains suspended in the air of the bathroom environment even for a few hours, becoming a source of diffusion of SARS-CoV-2 if inhaled by a healthcare professional and in any case by a subsequent user.

The use of the toilet also generates bacteria and viruses in the form of an aerosol that is deposited on all the surrounding surfaces increasing the risk of infection.

Planus SpA has created a PATENTED toilet capable of sucking the aerosol directly from the toilet basin during use, conveying it to the outside of the building through the sewer duct. By sucking the aerosol to the origin, the toilet thus created counteracts both the release of bad odors and the spread of viruses and other pathogens.
